This is totally off topic but I heard it and found it so strange that I looked it up an it is true.
Iowa State has had only 1 football player in its entire history drafted in the 1st round of the NFL draft.
Their single 1st round draft pick is a guy by the name George Amundson who was a running back drafted by the Oilers in 1973. I was a huge Oilers fan and I couldn’t remember him, because he hardley played. His career stats were 74 rushes for 194 yards. Played two years for the Oilers.
