That would be interesting.
Years ago I said we should open up trade with Cuba, that it is silly if we are trading with Vietnam & China, we certainly could be trading with Cuba. I mean, why My secondary thinking at the time was opening up trade and travel to Cuba might actually get more democracy in, but even if it didn’t - our trade embargos and all with Cuba have been going on a long time and that hasn’t gotten them to turn to democracy either.

I didn’t mean to imply now. If the US and Cuba are talking, I’m hoping some sort of regime change is in the works. Then I’ll pack my bags.

What about overthrowing this dictatorship that is responsible for their living conditions?
Given their issue stems mainly from the blockade the US is implementing, then yes, I agree. We should impeach the guy responsible and toss him out on his arse.

I misunderstood your point. I thought you were saying we should overthrow Cuba, not their people. So we shouldn’t be involved in overthrowing Cuba?
What about Venezuela?
Cuba is a dictatorship. They enjoy killing their own people. We took out madero and we now have brokered an energy deal with them. The future looks bright for Venezuela. The ccp is furious. That is in itself is an historical development.
