I fell hard for the Allman Brothers which led me into the rabbit hole of Southern Rock. Lynyrd Skynyrd was a blaze across that southern sky. The biggest band since the mitigation of the Allman Brother with the loss of Duane. There were other bands but none compared to Skynyrd.
Today, we do have a band that has shown signs of creating the Southern Rock renaissance, Whiskey Myers from Palestine, Texas.
