December madness instead of cfp? We have March Madness. Why not December Madness for Football?
The cfp HAS to be extended to 16 teams with all D1 conference winners. Some of you don’t agree?

  1. Any school wanted to realign with another conference is free to do so,
  2. Why have 10 Div 1 conferences then?
  3. It finally brings a true National Champion instead of a non ncaa National
    Champion
  4. It gives five at large teams into the cfp
  5. Fans want it. Put yourself in the aac, cusa, mac and other shoes otherwise
    why does a school even invest into a football program?
  6. You don’t like blow out? There are plenty of bowl games with blow out.
  7. Finally it brings a “December madness” that everyone, nationwide can pull for.

That will never happen

There are far more elite basketball programs in non-P4 conferences, largely because basketball is not as operationally expensive as football

There are only a few elite non-P4 football programs

So what? You either have DIV 1 FBS conferences or not. espn and the cartel are dictating what they want for a cfp just like they did with the bcs. I am wondering if they have not done so officially so they won’t get sued.
Louisiana Raging Cajuns win their conference? They should be hosting one of the at large. People would love to watch it. People love to pull for the underdog.
Do you know what makes sports video games popular? You can play with an underdog and win against a blueblood. We are not looking at 64 teams. We are looking at 16.
