Just a quick note. Coogs open Big 12 (or whatever the name will be) season v BYU in Utah. That game is September 20th. It will be “nationally” televised on ESPNU.
First game of the season is a week away, Friday the 25th, in Fertitta Center against USC (a team with multiple National Championships on its resume). [For the scrupulously accurate, Coogs play an exhibition v. Rice on August 19th]. I don’t think the Rice match is available for viewing, but I stand to be corrected in this age of streaming.
I get the impression, reading the report at uhcougars.com that most games will be on ESPN+.

Was at the rice game, UH smacked them 3-1 with a whooping in the final set

Thanks 4 posting. I have been searching for a report on the match. I note that Rice is ranked #23 in one of the polls. On deck the #22 SoCal Trojans, season opener this Friday in FC.

Too bad we don’t play Rice during the regular season.
After our recent loss to texas state, we are still ranked but dropped to 21st.
