What’s Fritz buyout after next season? Better start saving up
Same thing we’re wondering Austin!
140 offensive drives, 112 went off with no points.
Now we have a second year coach hiring 2 new coordinators. Yeah, next year is going to be magical!
Fritz: “Our program is sinking like the Titanic but we’ll get it fixed”
Signing Day without coordinators seems less than optimal for sure.
Does this reset the every coach gets a throw away season counter?
Can we get him to quit like Gus?
Recruits are starting to post on X. This is going to take a turn for the worst tomorrow. The timing couldn’t be more catastrophic.
Welcome to the age of Modern College Football…the only constant is change. JHC, you think we aren’t going to be making some moves and taking others players and coaches as well ?..Relax Don’t Do It
Just a theory but looks like UH is all in on basketball. They are able to compete with Blue Bloods on NIL to get 3 5 star recruits but they know they can’t compete with the big boys in football. The best way to elevate the brand is the UConn/Kansas route and occasionally have a decent football squad. There should be no absolute way you lose a DC to who is now a lateral school. Their is something lacking with this football program and has been for awhile now…
Now with hiring 2 coordinators, CWF will definitely hire someone that he has worked with in the past. Too much change to go outside of his circle.
Generally I agree. But it’s still a bummer to see quality coaches go and I’ll feel out those feels for a little bit.
That hurts to hear
This is really weird.
It’s always possible that the “sources” jumped the gun, but there’s way too much smoke here.
Extension but no raise?
We paid Doug Belk $1mil a year. Along with our relief from the Nebraksa Holgy hire, we should’ve gotten him a pay bump.
Much much easier in Basketball. Basketball it’s only what? 2-3 5 star recruits that can make your class a top 5. Football is a different animal.
You know what Coach Yeoman used to say? It’s not easy being a Cougar. I’d like to hear the backstory on this.
