Never stops JLCoog. Saturday was tough. The wife is still upset abt how Basketball team lost another lead in 2nd half. Pick up the pieces.

Nah, he is about to lose our defensive recruits too.

lol no. That was Shiel Wood’s defense.

Someone getting Wood is not surprising. He did a fantastic job. It being Tech is the surprising part. Curious if it came down to pay or something else.

Maybe…maybe, just hear me out…he didn’t want to coach a defense on a team that didn’t score a touchdown on 33 out of 48 quarters. Wild to think, but just maybe our inept offense just cost us our defense.

Well, Texas Tech paid their DC over $1M per year. Until UH starts paying competitive salaries, we are going to continue to lose coaches.

We paid Belk $1M but wouldn’t pay Wood?

Yes, this is where when they mention that UH is dead last in BIG12 revenue, n its not close is big deal. Easy for us fans to say give him another half mil, but Dr Khator & AD have to face reality. Not pretty.

That’s exactly it, we wasted a solid defense this season .

Perhaps CWF has settled on the QB on roster and he didn’t want to be a part of another wasted season

I suppose fans need to get use to our coaches getting poached for a lateral position.

If you’re going to compete with the big boys, you have to pay like the big boys or stay at the kiddie table.

Let’s see how many players we lose from this.

If we are going to lose coordinators who have one good season to a conference mate we’ll never have any momentum and might as well shutter the program. This is ridiculous.

Jeremiah Wilson gone. Announced he’ll be transferring. Best corner we had.

I’d seriously look at the Rice defensive coordinator (Brian Smith). They ranked 36th in the country in defense this year, not that far behind UH. And you can’t blame Rice’s record on their defense. He was the safeties coach at Michigan before Rice - he’s done a good job where he’s been.
