Discussion: The United States has an energy problem

I predict natural gas will be around for another 80 years. Until then natural gas is important as hell for communities that rely on it for their homes. Isnt the Crosby area heavily reliant on Natural Gas?

Also, just because something is cheap does not mean it is efficacious

I see natural gas as being the spin up fuel of
choice for next 50 years . Carry baseload but
supplemented heavily from wind/solar/power storage.

Price of gas was on a general upward trend
to 2008, and then recession and advent of fracking unlocked more supply. But even with that, its price is subject to spikes and world events. Only free fuels are wind,solar, and hydro.
