Just saw on Twitter that Dr. Fred Schiff of the Valenti School passed away. I had one class with him but would talk to him at times on campus. Nice guy, passionate about media studies.

On Wednesday, the Valenti School of Communication is hosting a Celebration of Life ceremony for Dr. Schiff. The ceremony begins at 4 p.m. and will take place in the O’Quinn room, which is located in the UH Alumni Center. Please email me at lmsmith7@uh.edu if you would like to share a memory.
