I know this comment is akin to “grass is green and the sky is blue”, but Chriss is not a long term answer at UH QB. Smith leaves after this year. Is it a competition between Chriss, Ale, McMickle, Sock, Wijay next year? Does Chriss get the starter spot because he had the most snaps this year? I can’t imagine Carlisle will play much as a freshman next year and promising as he is. Does UH pursue a transfer QB?

100% need to go after a QB in the portal. Let’s say Ale transfer out. Zeon so far, imo, is not the answer. Smith is gone. I get Carlisle is coming in but do we really think he’ll start? As for McMickle who knows how he comes back from that injury.
