UH was much easier to guard Milos’ senior season than Milos’ junior season.
Where did I say anything about Milos being garbage…?
And Milos still is our 2nd best transfer behind LJ…
And after his first transfer year he was arguably the best transfer we’d had but comparing his 2 year stint to LJ’s then LJ gets the nod…
Milos was asked to play a completely different role, as a senior. How do people ignore this?
Sorry @uncleju … but I had to borrow this one for this…

Milos was a beast. We don’t get to the championship game without him.
I am hopeful of this season.
And why is he over here catching strays when talking about next season, anyway?
Even with Mercy Miller and Chase McCarty? I feel a migraine coming on…
We scored more ppg last season…
And Kingston was definitely the hardest player to guard individually from the past 2 seasons.
No disrespect to Milos - but don’t forget Q and Deeky
Good points… I guess I was thinking NIL era only…
Yes Q is in top transfer convo with LJ and Milos and Deeky is a tough decision for 3rd/4th…
But… if Milos hadn’t returned he’d be in the discussion with Q & LJ as most impactful transfer…
Fair, but UH IMO was easier to guard with zero low post threat. Kingston was hard to guard.
Q and Deeky?
Is that a kids detective show? ![]()
Love Flemings, his talent is amazing and his upside in the NBA could be great, but give me a senior leader on the floor in crunch time in the FF. I wouldn’t say the spotlight was too great for Flemings and Cenac in FF, maybe it was just adjusting to a long hard grind of a B12 season, but at the end when we needed them to step up, we fell short.
Idk… I disagree…
Our gameplan fell short in the Illini game…
You should NEVER have a game where you only shoot 2 FTs… how does that even happen?
Guess who had our only 2 FTs… Flemdawg.
Without Flemdawg & $harp the Coogs get completely embarrassed in that game…
Uzan & Cenac fell short.
IMO it was never about players stepping up or gameplans falling apart
imo last year we stopped being a uniquely tough team, that you needed time to adjust… and just went to a stereotypical good team … while still good we werent anything anyone hadnt seen before
we stopped being the bullies on the block, and became the cool kids…in a room full of other cool kids

That would’ve been J’Wan the year before… lol

As a youth coach, Kelvin Sampson is one of the guys I love to learn from BUT yea, my gripe with Houston basketball has always been… they never get fouled.
In big games in big arenas with weird depth perception, 3 point shots won’t fall as easy. And I personally feel the best way to win in big games is to have a few guards that know how to draw fouls even when they can’t get shots to fall.
Perfect example is Jaron Cumberland… UC hasn’t beaten Houston since he played for UC I’m pretty sure. And it’s all because Houston would hold him to 3-12 from the field but he’d Make 13 free throws and put your best defenders in foul trouble.
I can’t wait to see a Houston team that defends the life out of the ball AND draws fouls.
We do not pound the paint enough. That is where fouls occur.
Our 4 Big Men must dominate Inside. That includes our Guards driving to the Bucket. Dish, score, get fouled.
On paper the 2027 team looks better than 2026.
