I remember Herman saying that Roberts was an almost once in a coaching career type team leader, or something to that effect.

ERob shows that hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. He goes from being a reserve under Levine to team captain and unquestionable leader of our 2015 defense. Then makes the roster of NFL team as an undersized linebacker. Not just any NFL team but one run by one of best defensive tacticians of all time in Belichick. In the last four years he’s played in a NY6 Bowl Game and 3 Super Bowls, with three rings to show for it!
