BRUSSELS (AP) — The European Union’s top court ruled Tuesday that Hungary broke EU law by making it a criminal offense for people or organizations to help migrants and refugees apply for asylum, in a new legal blow to Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s right-wing government.
Hungary erected a razor-wire barrier on its border with Serbia and Croatia in 2015 as well over 1 million people, most fleeing conflict in Syria, entered the EU, often from Turkey via Greece. Tens of thousands moved north, deeper into the EU, in search of sanctuary and better lives.
As more people arrived, Orban began to accuse Hungarian-born U.S. billionaire George Soros and groups linked to him of encouraging the migrants. In 2018, Hungary’s government introduced legislation known as the “Stop Soros” laws that would make it an offense to help people apply for asylum.
“It is now time for the Hungarian government to implement the court’s decision and immediately withdraw this piece of shameful legislation,” Amnesty’s Hungary director, David Vig, said.

Yeah, this is good test of the limits of optical only sensory systems.
Spoiler alert - it fails 3 of the tests, hitting the pedestrian at full speed
every time.
Elon missing out on LiDAR in his cars is a big flaw imho. Hope others
watch the video and see how the Tesla optical only systems are not up
to reality.
If his robo taxis cabs are not using it, BIG mistake for the genius, right up
there with twitter.

In getting EVs to mass markets and original
innovation, he gets very high marks. Unfortunately. Tesla seems to be behind the
curve in new models and using the best technology out there.
In rocketry he gets credit for reliable , reusable, low cost launch systems. Starship
though has had 2 back to back spectacular failures. Do you think if 2 Saturn V rockets exploded back to back, NASA would have made it to the moon ?
For starlink satellites he gets credit too.

Of course they did. ESA brings the European astronauts up to the space station. The Russians use their own rockets too.

If the point you’re trying to make is that some people (who are not on Coogfans) take their protests against Elon and Tesla too far, I don’t disagree and don’t think many Coogfans disagree either.
Otherwise, he and his companies are fair game for criticism. Just like the Boeing CEO is fair game for criticism, we just may not know the Boeing CEO’s name as they don’t live such a public profile as Elon.
