TLDR: sharp was dealing with plantar fasciitis and will rest it hoping to heal. will declare for the NBA draft, but is expecting to come back. will cancel workouts if the plantar fasciitis isnt healed
Plantar fascitis is terrible. Ended many a professional sports career
It sucks so bad. I had a bout with it that lasted more than 18 months. Then I woke up one day and it was gone.
Same with a golf elbow. It lasted for six months and then it was gone out of nowhere. Its crippling!!!
The advice his dad gives as opposed to some of these parents. Tennessee and Alton McCaskill’s dad.
The best piece of advice he got was just to stay off of social media, FB, Instagram etc is one of the worst things for us as a society, I wish they never came into existence
You do see the irony in your statement as you post on social media?
Are you referring to social media in general or Coogfans as social media?
Because I would argue Coogfans as social media in comparison to “Social Media” is the difference between giving Marcellus Wallace’s wife foot rub, and you know. Finish the quote yourself I’m not getting the ban for it
Also shout out Pulp Fiction Uma Thurman.
I guess I don’t see how he prepares for the draft and simultaneously takes time off…
Not Coogs fans but FB, IG, Tik Tok etc
Oh, I know. FB and the like started out great. A chance to reconnect with old friends or make new ones. However, it has metastasized into what we see today good and bad. Too many keyboard warriors. We made our beds, now we have to lie in them.
Visualization, man…
I got rid of my Facebook a month ago and love it.
Meaning he already planned to go through the process and get evaluations. If he is healthy enough to participate in workouts he will.
I had plantar fascitis or shall i say still have since mine requires surgery,. Rest can help but if it needs surgery than that would not be good
I never even signed up for one and love it lol, don’t understand why everyone needs to know what everyone is doing every second of the day lol
My FB experience is vastly different than that…
FB began as a novel way to connect with people where it could be difficult to otherwise. I enjoyed reconnecting with friends from elementary school who I hadn’t been able to in 40+ years. Unfortunately about 10 years ago it became a platform for people to declare their political views, denigrate others, and run scams. Also, FB turned the platform into a, far from benign, surveillance tool. I walked away 5 years ago and haven’t missed it once. Good riddance
My Facebook page is basically dead. That, Instagram, and Reddit are all so overwhelmed with ads, disinformation, and sponcon (disclosed and otherwise) that they’re close to unusable. Coogfans is basically the last website I use where I’m confident that most of the content I’m seeing consists of real people’s sincerely held opinions.
