Enough already with the CDH non sense

I am seriously doubting your statement. He will be back. Truthfully I think there are some on this board that just want to see him gone and I haven’t figured out why?! We ALL knew before the season that redshirting was a possibility, now that it has happened, now some already want to start a “new chapter”.

I hope two things.

  1. No one tells King or his family the nonsense being said on this board.
  2. He wins the Heisman at UH next year.

I really miss the world before social media…simple times man, simple times.

I think you guys are selling Tune short. You seem to forget that our offense now is predicated on a passing QB that only runs out of necessity. King has not shown to be that kind of QB, too often he bailed early when he still had enough protection to go through progression. There is no denying that King is a gifted runner with electrifying moves, but our offense needs guys that can run adequately enough to keep a drive alive only when flushed but is there to pass – and hit the long ball.

In short, this offense needs a guy more like Case than Ward. King is more like Ward, Tune is more in the Case mold. We will just have to wait and see how it goes, but I am on board with Tune now am am hoping he proves to be our next great QB.

I’m sure they are reading this nonsense as we speak.

I’m selling him short because he hasn’t prove it. Why crown him to be something I have not seen him do. I hope he succeeds but I’m not holding my breath.

I have to see more of Tune. I haven’t seen Case in him, but I am not going to deny it. I will definitely have to look at his skill set this game.

Well, let’s hope they consider the source and how we’re all “experts” on what DK is thinking, etc.

From what I saw of Tune last year he was a better QB as a freshman than Case was except I think case had more innate leadership. If Tune can develop as a leader and as a QB, then we’ll have a keeper.

Time will tell. Just saying that regardless how sincere the sentiment today, life events have a way in changing things. Stays or goes, it’s his call in the end. I am good either way.

I do think some of our initial blowback was the result of the father’s comments. It’s a shame because he isn’t a professional interviewer and has every right to advise and nurture his son. I hope that over the months this calms and the two agree that UH is the best place for a Grand Finale.

But if the father advises on a change then I support his decision. I’m a father myself.

When I said Tune is more in the Case mold, I meant he is primarily a passer that can run when necessary, but not run like a Ward or King. I am not going equate anyone to Case, whom I think was a very special player the likes of which we may never have again.
