Estimated Revenue Sharing for B12 Schools 2025-26

This article gives estimated revenue sharing by B12 schools anticipated for the 2025-26 season. Athletes will get 22% of a schools revenue.

UH is lagging way behind other conference schools in collective funding, support and contributions. Frankly, it is embarrassing.

Didn’t we hire a new AD for this? This is so sad to see.

Everyone wants to criticize but not donate.

Christ, this is brutal…

I thought we got full shares after our second year in big 12???

Yes, I think most or at least some are. That doesn’t change the fact that fundraising is important.

I dont think our full shares kick in until either this July or next July

To his defense, he hasn’t even been AD for a year.

The numbers are junk. UCF, Cinci and Houston numbers are pre B12. Read the *** at the bottom of the first section. Also, from the BOR meeting slide we have the lowest operating costs so it isn’t as bleak as it seems.

wow !

are those basketball and football payments per year per athlete or per for years. if that’s per year, thats more than all but top engineers are making first year out of college.

college sports is now pro sports, especially with the NIL; just sad. I now don’t blame local players for going big10 or sec, they can probably pay four or 5 times this and graduate with a million dollars in the bank.

Per year for sure.

This is why the whole let uncle tilman fertitta pay all the bills won’t work. It creates generational apathy.

What do you mean? That we shouldn’t accept his naming rights on the basketball arena? We shouldn’t accept him paying coaches salaries?

No, that’s not at all what I’m talking about. I’m referring to NIL. There are a lot of posts saying uncle TF should fund our NIL.

Ahhh ok, I didn’t read through the thread.

The full share doesn’t get paid until the 2025-2026 year. I’m not sure exactly when those revenues start coming in, but it’s probably at least after football season.

I know they made the announcement about the 2023-2024 revenues at the Spring Meetings in May of 2024, so it may be that the bulk of the “full-share” money doesn’t come in until spring 2026.

You’re good. It wasn’t mentioned in this thread. But overall reading coogfans board I see a lot of post saying uncle TF should step up and fund our NIL.

JESUS, give me a break…Pezman didnt do ANYTHING concerning this…Thats why he was fired. New AD is just getting started. In 2027 if we’re still in last place by a big margin, you can complain, but not now…Some of y’all are so embarrassed by it? Shut up and write the school a check.

I’ve been one of the people that thinks Tilman should help with FB NIL. I don’t think he should be the only one and cover it every year forever. FB needs to start winning before others will get on board including alumni and corporate donors. He has the ability to get this train moving overnight. It was pre-NIL but his money helped get basketball going with facilities. I don’t think basketball NIL is an issue today because people want to contribute to a winner.
