F-the attendance crap, look at W-L

We are 7-2. We could win the rest of our games, we could lose the rest of our games. The nice thing is it is against opponents we knows. UCF, TCU, Baylor.
We WANT to play these teams. If the casual fan doesn’t like it - F=em. Coogs, are Coogs. We will follow this team no matter what and right now we are in the cat bird seat. We are going to a bowl. After last year, we all doubted. I’m excited for where we are and where we are going. A UH fan from Arkansas

Looking forward to Friday. I’ve overall enjoyed this season. Let’s go get win number 8. Go Coogs!

I’ve quit getting too up or down on one win or loss. I’m enjoying the program now more than ever. It’s got a stable, big time feel to it. I just want my program to be respected and have a chance to hang some banners. Win them all 3-0. I’m happy with it. Or win most of them 3-0.

I should say win them 6-3. I’m stingy but I’m not a hoarder.

We’re already better than last year and better than I was expecting this year (I expect 6-6 as we rebuild).

Trust me, if I could still drive from Dallas and attend games, I’d be there.

I do like healthy attendance. About 2/3 full (26,000) is ideal. Like a plane, 2/3 full looks and feels full, but you have an empty seat next to you.

I survived 1993 though 2002, I can survive this.

I don’t know how I feel not being the only native Arky on the board. At least I know I’m the only upper crust Arky.

When I retire I’m buying a piece of land on 82 right before town and flying a giant UH flag. Or maybe putting a billboard that says, “This is Houston Cougar Country.”

I’ve been listening to Coogs cry about attendence since the 80s. Hearing them cry about losses is a million times worse. It felt a lot worse losing last week than it did worrying that Daniel down the street didn’t bring his fat wife and two kids and feed them a couple of $15 rubber chicken sandwiches (Sure it’s a problem) but it didn’t ruin my week…losing did. Just win! Keep winning and eventually they’ll come.

What about the “Daniel Effect”? Maybe the fat wife helps CW hold onto the ball…

Losing ruins your week? You must be miserable! It’s not the end of the world. Adopt a pet if you need more joy in your life.

Looks more like he’s a diehard fan that cares about the success of UH athletics. Apathy about wins and losses will get us back to the American.

More than worrying about attendance, no I’m far from miserable but thanks for the suggestion.

Now there’s an oxymoron.

I’m in Arkansas but I’m a native Houstonian. So my upper crust beats your upper crust!

We call you new money

UH football losing does indeed ruin my Fall weeks on any prior weekend when we lose.

I’m WITH him on that!
