Final Home Game Attendance Numbers

Can you arrange the stadium so my seats won’t be baking in the afternoon sun?

Stone art deco would look lovely on the stadium ngl. Would fit with the older Roy G Cullen building and other Pre 1960’s constructions on campus. Would have to make it more upscale and modernized to get the point across.

How would a mix of metal paneling and art deco look? Have Art Deco Stone as the main foundation and overarching structure with glass and metal panels to emphasize the entrances and give it a more modern look?

Air flow was a consideration when our stadium was built and it works.

Since they built the OPS, at my seats, its blocked the breeze.

The metal panels have a short shelf life, as a material.

We were in the AAC when we built this stadium on a shoestring budget so I’m sure we imagined we’d have $$$ for more permanent improvements when/if we landed in the P4.

Our whole facade will need to be replaced eventually.

In a hypothetical world, we would have an air conditioned, retractable roofed stadium, wouldn’t we?

We had the Astrodome and we still had attendance problems back then.

We have Fertitta Center in our AAC days with attendance issues.

Which other FBS school has an on campus indoor stadium besides Syracuse?

UTSA and UNLV don’t count.

50,000 current students say otherwise. Of course you hate everyone of them.

I’m not talking about attendance.

A lot of those are transfers though, right?

They still chose UH.

We need to sell 50,000 more tickets to fill up our Stadium to 100% capacity every year.

That would be only 2,000 fans buying a family patch of 4 tickets.

We must have that many prospects on Campus.

Professors, regular employees, etc.

And inside Loop 610. They would have the easiest commute to Campus. Aren’t there 2,000 Alums living inside Loop 610?

This seems solvable.

On campus, and with free parking :grinning:

Dude what is your problem??

Yes, i am glad we have 50,000 students but we have NONE of the supporting cultural infrastructure of other P4 schools even half our size.

Open your eyes…and visit other P4 Campuses…talk to their alums …ask them A)where they were from originally B) if their school was a top 5 option of theirs and C) if the still support their alma mater(even attend at least one game) post graduation.

Then ask those same questions to UH alums/former students

Khator’s been here for 2+ decades and she has moved the needle but we still have a lot of work to do to even catch up to a school 40 years our junior, in UCF

Why in the F do you continuously want UH to be stuck in the mud instead of becoming the grand destination University it CAN become??

They didn’t “chose” UH they “used” UH…that’s the whole difference between HIGH ROI Students (ones that really care about their UH connection) and LOW ROI Students (ones that don’t care at all) and never return again after their last day of class

Guess which category a transfer student just hoping to redeem their education or a UH studebt looking to trsnsfer to another school, fall under?

That’s crazy because it’s literally the two best opponents from our old league and two teams we would’ve killed to have on our schedule when we were there.

Did you donate since it’s easy to be a millionaire?

You just crossed the Rubicon, Sir!!! My dachshund wants to know what the problem is.

And the home schedule is the dregs. Cincy being the exception. I like beating Baylor but they bore me. Willie should go to town on this home schedule. Not complaining. Just keepin it real.

Dude…our University sits in a city that has the tenth largest concentration of millionaires in the entire world.

How many thousands of cities are there and Houston is on the top 10…only single digit number of cities with more millionaires than Houston and its main public University of that top 1% richest city is the University OF Houston.

I’ll remind everyone that seems tp struggle with this formula that Net Worth = Total Assets - Total Liabilities.

If that’s a hard concept to grasp, i recommend you do a deep dive into Dave Ramsey Podcasts…which is a zero debt ideal system…not hard…just takes discipline and time.

And to be honest, a million dollar net worth at retirement age 65 is the minimum recommendation by most financial planners

Long winded but I didn’t see a yes or a no.
