I dont think Sumlin did either; I know Kliff didnt when he was HC.
Last Saturday The Arizona Head Coach took play calling duties away from his OC and gave them to his TE Coach.
The Wildcats then upset Utah in the Utes Stadium 23-10.
This system will continue. The OC is involved in designing each weekās game plan but will not call the plays on game day.

Why is it that the folks that BMW the most and contribute the least want to give the OC roughly 20 minutes before getting fired? āHappy Hour Holgorsenā got a hell of a lot more slack than that.

Thereās no reason to dismiss the obvious in an effort to deflect blame. Execution problems are at least partially the responsibility of the coaches.
We hired an OC with a history of underperforming offenses. If weāre going to lean on Fritzās history for building a winner, why should we ignore the OCās history of not doing that?
