Florida State now down to its 3rd string QB

I just saw on Twitter that their backup QB has entered the transfer portal.

They will now face Georgia without their starting QB, backup QB, star RB, top-two WRs, star TE, first round EDGE and their best LB.

They’d better have some AMAZING depth!

What they should do is protest the game. Go through the bowl week activities and then on the day of, not play in the game.

And when they lose the pundits will say “See, they didn’t belong in the playoffs.”.

Brock Glenn, their 3rd string true freshman qb led to a win in the ACC Championship

At schools like FSU, their 2nd and 3rd stringers are still 4 and 5 star recruits with the occasional high 3 star thrown in.

There’s a good reason to not have them in the final four

They deserve to be there, tho… Why play the games if you’re being judge by an injury to your QB come playoff time.

Georgia should have been in over horn.

Why play for an undefeated P5 team when you don’t even have a chance of making the CFP

Of course, why play for nothing?

This is going to happen more and more often as long as top level CFB is a cartel controlled by ESPN. I wonder if Jaden Daniels will play?

Why? Bama beat them!

I wish that now we have NIL, they put in clauses the players have to play in the bowl games or return the funds.

For games like this one, it is something to prove that can impact later decisions on what teams get in or get byes, etc… FSU wins and they show they belonged in the CFI.

The 12 team starts next year, but it does not mean it wont change again or get adjustments in two years.

Didn’t Cam Ward transfer to FSU?

Maybe he can start …

This is what FSU and Norvell deserves after their fans said UH played a weak schedule in 2015 and Norvell bailing out on Memphis before their Cotton Bowl game at the end of 2019.

Because bama lost to horn and barely beat USF.

Not sold on expansion. If they haven’t figured out fairness, then all expansion does is provide more opportunity to invite SEC and Big 12 schools who are NOT undefeated.
Wouldn’t be shocked if the 10 slots were SEC and Big 10 schools and the final two we’re big 12 and ACC.

do you not agree that the 4 best teams made the playoffs?

I have no perfect way of defining “best” and neither does the playoff committee(see Bama last year and Georgia this year). That’s why there needs to be clear cut parameters. This “best” thing can change depending on how the committee feels that day.

My way? Start by letting in every conference champion and the runner-up. That begins to eliminate the getting knocked out at the last minute nonsense.

The clauses are up to the people giving out NIL money…whether they put clauses in there or were dumb enough not to.

I think we are going to start seeing a flurry of NIL lawsuits in court here soon where player A was in breach of the obligations of his NIL contract.

The only reason Texas is in is because they beat a 4-8 team with the help of a inept ref/alumni. C’mon guys, they definitely do not belong!
