Went to Fung’s Kitchen for my birthday. My favorite Chinese restaurant and their dim sum is hard to beat.

This “Lobster Mountain” was 6 1# lobsters. It’s a special promotion. Eat Like a Local with Chris Shepard recently highlighted it.

The table next to us ordered a live 5# king crab which they brought to the table. Frickin awesome.

I’ve had Fung’s Kitchen on my list for decades but still haven’t made it.

I did cross one off the list last week: Marini’s Empanadas. I really enjoyed it… but be aware that the menu takes about 30 minutes to read. They must have at least 100 different empanadas on the menu.

I’ll definitely be back for another lunch.

Is Chinese Star still around?

Maharaja Bhog off 59 is one that I can never go to enough. Strongly recommend if Indian food is your thing. It’s an AYCE thali place that does a real good job of keeping your plate full.
