I was just told the other day on campus that the Satellite underground area is closed permanently. I had thought it was just a covid thing. Anyone know why? or if there will be other options for eating in that area beside a bagel?
Flooding. Repeatedly being flooded over the years.
On the academic board there is a discussion of this and rendering of the proposed replacement
if interested. The closure was announced back in Nov. 2019.
Scroll down in this thread and you will see the replacement called “The HUB”

Me too, it was close to the architecture building so we frequented it. And had my first campus beer there.
