Fred Faour

Not sure where to post this, and please move it to the right place, but Fred Faour passed away last night. I loved listening to Fred and he cared about the Coogs. God bless him and his family

Some kind words in this reddit.
“The Blitz” was a huge show and seems like a sports era milestone to many.

I liked his style on 97.5. He didn’t overreact to anything and always took a logical approach to the goings on in the sports world.

Prayers to his loved ones.

RIP.

definitely missed him on the 97.5. Bless his family and condolences.

I met Fred at a Coaches Pub during the Auburn bowl game. I was a huge Blitzer so was definitely excited to meet him, let alone tailgate with him. He started coming around our tailgates and became a friend. Super sweet guy, one of my favorites all time to talk sports with. Definitely going to miss him.

That was a beast to get through but well worth it. Some GREAT stories in there.
