SMU hosts BYU on Friday night before we play at OU. Maybe that one will be on ESPN for ACC.

The last time UH Football played on a Thursday night, they beat West Virginia with a Hail Mary pass in the endzone. You think a play like that would have got the same national media attention on a Saturday night?

Donā€™t be knocking Thursday night games.

We need to support this team, coach and conference the best we can.
When was the last time we played in Lawrence, Fort Worth or Provo?
I went to Manhattan, KS last year, not a good outcome but a good time.
I went to the last Arizona game, really good time. I have never been to
Cincinnati and would like to see Arrowhead stadium.

Actually, it was on a Saturday. The following game at a semi-neutral site versus Florida State was on a Friday.

I have been wondering the same thing, but they really donā€™t fill out there schedule until 60-90 days out. Billy Bobā€™s is great since they stopped allowing smoking inside.

No maybe because there are a zillion schools now lolā€¦but at the Katy schools, Ridge Point, Angleton and many others pretty well pack it in every weekā€¦in fairness, I thought Lamar had a decent crowd in their win over Ridge Point last year and Heights traveled well in football and softball. Outside those two schools things are very slow in HISD

So many high schools share the same stadiums that they have games Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Sometimes Saturdays have two games in same day I think.

Unless you are in 8+ high school district like HISD, Fort Bend, Cy-Fair etc. then most of your games are on Friday.

Occasionally there will be Thursday or Saturday games the first few weeks and last few weeks when no team has a bye week.
