Fritz plans on playing several true freshmen, 40+ players will rotate every game

If we roll Oregon State as expected, we’ll see them on Saturday. Otherwise we’ll definitely see them against Southern.

I expect to see Keisean the entire 2nd half against Southern

This is by far the most depth we’ve had since 2015 and 2016.

That’ll be a treat to see in person

I seriously doubt that will happen. I can see Keisean getting some game reps but nowhere near to an entire half.

Against Southern…?

I could see it against Southern and with 5 in 5…

I think it is important to keep young players engaged in the program and to give them playing time. I have no doubt that other teams will be watching very closely Henderson, Melvin and others, offering them playing time if they transfer. Henderson is the odds on favorite to start next year at UH, so unless it is a money grab, I expect Henderson to stay put.

Managing your roster includes giving players meaningful playing time so they are not planning their exit by mid-season.

True, the QB3 will probably get the fourth quarter

heck, against southern, we might be on to our third string by the end of the 3rd.

I’d like to see our 1st string guys play the entire game against Southern. In my opinion, the more live reps our guys take before facing Tech, the better.

Whipping Southern every play isn’t going to get us ready for Tech.

I had a D1 QB tell me the first 20 plays of the game are usually pre-scripted.

I don’t care if my first, last or middle name started with a “P”, I don’t think I’d want “Little P” as my nickname.

I remember when Randy “The Big Unit” Johnson was on the Astros’ roster and the press suggested to Billy Wagner that he is “The Little Unit”. Billy wanted no part of that.
