From someone within FB:

I live 300 miles away and was there booing the back to back runs up the middle. Can’t make every game so my friend will be there prepared to boo in my stead. He doesn’t follow football much so I’ll have to text him when booing is called for.

I quit on Dana after Rice. It was my daughter that drug me to the game. I had planned on watching a David Carradine documentary and eating blueberry Pop Tarts until I burst.

She’ll play Hell making her own car payments til she learns not to waste people’s time.

You are incorrect.
1st drive was just bad starting with the intentional grounding.
2nd drive was run for 0 yards, incompletion and sack
3rd drive was 2 runs for 0 yards and a 3 yard pass.
4th drive was run for 3 yards, run for 2, pass for 1st down, run for 2 yards, etc.

That was 3 drives in a row starting with a run of 3 yards or less on 1st down, then a 4th 1st down again under 3 yards. In the 2nd half we didn’t get a rushing 1st down until 9 minutes left in the 4th.

It was obvious we were going to run up the middle on 1st. The fans knew it and didnt like it. The TV announcers said they were booing the conservative and inneffective 1st down play calls

Get off your high horse. I was there, i booed, I left early. I was also there and will be for every game played. I’m not a bad fan or part of the problem. Not everyone who is a UH fan has to live up to your expectations.

Fellers, I’m going to tell you how it is. Nobody can force anyone to anything in this great country. Therefore, instead of watching TCU beat us and watch some poor offense, I decided to do something that was more worth my time.

This life is short and do I want to watch 3 and out for 4 hours? Darn it, no I do not. That’s just how it is. I don’t care about being a “true” fan. If you can’t put out a good product, then why am I spending my hard earned money on it? You wouldn’t buy your money on a poorly made product right? That’s just the way it should work in this fine country. FREEDOM, free market, and private property.

Do tell. What was more worth your time on a Saturday night? Date night? Netflix binge?

Wtf. Did somebody try to kidnap you and transport you to the stadium for the game? Do they try to clockwork orange you for road games holding your eyelids open?

I didn’t boo after the two runs, but I did say “what the f*ck is this?” at a decent volumn. I think my total F bombs was only at 3 or 4. Damn proud of that performance.

People who watch on TV are not as pure as we folks that attend games. When a person scolds me from their couch for what I do at a game I think of the valet at Polekatz complaining because of the citrus vanilla x-mas tree hanging from my mirror.

Its just unseemly.

I went to the gym, ate food, and played video games while the game was on in the background. And I was also watching other football games

When I can’t make it ( which will likely be none this year after back fusion) I give them to either my nephew or cousin.

My nephew is a great kid, freshly out of college and now living in Houston….Enjoys the games semi-quietly.

But when my cousin ( and we are talking first cousins) stakes claim it’s an entire different story.( other side of the family)
He’s a beautiful guy….done not one, but two stints in Huntsville….If you see a bald Mexican in his forties with face and head tats , a little over six feet, probably 220 with prison muscles that’s him.

Do not approach him and do not try and make small talk….I can’t stress this enough….he will most likely be there with his “ ol’ lady”….she is an old chola so don’t talk to her either.

His “cheering” style is both unique and a little aggressive….do not tell him to sit down or be quiet.

No one will ever be able to say my seats don’t get used….

They can’t do an artificial disc and have to do fusion??? I have an artificial disc for my C6-C7 and am so grateful they didn’t do fusion.

Very close sir……missing all the face tats.

Was one of the worst he had seen….had ALIF surgery….6-7” cut from belly button down….then holes from my back to hold everything together.

Maybe we should have the Oline scheme traps counters and draws?

Pollard, would your first cousin have a problem if I asked his ol lady about NIL?

Agreed. Mathis and Jenkins should be getting the most minutes.

One of the many things I find confusing is why Dana uses a smallish RB like Sneed in goal line situations or 4th and inches. This is where you want a guy that can pound his way into the end zone.

No Limits on the Offense

Remember this summer he said everything was good.

A few days later I am even more incensed for CDH lack of accountability and leadership.
When the going gets tough real leaders hunker down. They do the exact opposite of blaming their troop. This has became a constant. i hated to write it the first time but CDH has now done it multiple times over three seasons…Keep that in mind. That is three seasons out of five. The best response from CDH at this time should be to tell his team to be quiet and let out their frustrations on our next opponents. This is what real HC’s do. Adversity makes you a better man/woman, player and HC. You either learn from it or you keep blaming others. One more thing I would like to say to CDH: shut your trap and be a COACH. This is why you are here.
