If they do, then whoever constructed that GOR from the conference’s side is a fool.
The money has to come from somewhere and has to go somewhere. You can’t just void obligatory fees.

Methinks FSU getting shut out of the playoff has them upset and reactive. Can some of you legal minds tell us if this agreement with the ACC is breakable?

If the Big 12 put up with the BS the cows and boomer sooner can throw, FSU might be meek as lambs by comparison.
Florida State can leave the ACC whenever they want, as long as they pay close to 700 million dollars
Is this FSU vs ACC? That would be weird since half the ACC schools want out too.
The SEC is believed to be a less likely option for Florida State, Clemson or Miami — the three most desirable football properties (and this is about football mostly). The league is set to begin as a 16-team operation next season existing in contiguous states. It is already powerful. It is already rich. It has now taken over large swaths of Texas.
The SEC’s goal is to play a level of football that appeals to a national audience. It also already has schools in Florida and South Carolina.
“My sense is there is more opposition than interest,” one SEC source said.
So looks like if they bolt its B1G or distant second Big XII-2-2+2-2+4+4
Good points. I think this would influence the argument they make in seeking their declaratory judgement.
Big 12 is a majority ESPN property but they do share content with FOX
Not surprised. I bet it is probably due to ESPN’s and the SECs belief that any lawsuit filed will include them.
There’s what they “expect” to make and what they actually will make. I expect the cougars to get $100M in the next contract because we’re that good. Doesn’t mean we’re going to get it.
It will be interesting to see what FSU does. A$M didn’t have the cache to tell the SEC to vote no on the whorns. UF might have that cache when it comes to FSU.
aTm voted yes to UT as well.
Not sure UF would be as willing to do so with FSU, but ya never know!
I get the feeling that A$M wanted to vote no, but was told to shut up, sit down, and vote yes.
I can’t see the SEC schools inviting FSU or Clemson just to help them make as much money as you.
If I was an SEC school, I want to keep my financial competitive edge over my competition.
THIS…they screamed to all that would listen they were NOT happy with this but were told to stay in their lane (here is your bag of cash!)
Florida State is much more valuable than UH will ever be for the foreseeable future purely from an athletics standpoint
Told you lol…
Who says they’re invited to the SEC or Big 10?
Why would Florida want them?
Big 10 would just be weird…
Sounds like a San Diego St fiasco all over again
