Future Realignment Thread

Agree that watching is good if can’t make the game.

My responses go back to the post about TBS and TNT for future Big 12 games. According to a quick search, The CW is in 98% of households which is more than TNT or TBS, thus still CW is better than those two (or even ESPNU or ESPN2). More people CAN watch the CW.

I’m actually looking forward to TNT and TBS.
Their coverage of the NBA gives me hope that they hire decent announcers and pregame show analysts.

Their broadcasts during the NCAA tournament does need some improvement.

Utah State says they were offered a partial share by the Pac-12 originally and said no. Pac then came back with a full share offer

Utah state also said that the MWC making Air Force and UNLV the flagship programs while leaving them out was tge final straw.

If a U of H game is on cw does this mean it will be a Nationwide cw game? Each market have their own cw affiliate. Would a cw affiliate in San Diego show the U of H game?

Yes CW games are national.

Clemson and ND just signed a TWELVE year scheduling agreement that even supersedes ND’s existing ACC scheduling agreement.

Should be a good series to watch in future…Clemson isnt afraid of them and has beaten ND several times already.

Wait.

UNLV TO THE BIG 12???

Clownzano report.

They and every other G4 school. UNLV should have went to the Pac 12.

No to whatever G5 or G6 wants in.

We are not a Charity Conference and I would be very selective if/when ACC castaways become available but I don’t think they ever will.

16 is big enough…for now.

We need time to form connections to our current members and we are!

UNLV’s desirability has always been the city rather than UNLV’s athletics or academics.

Firm no to the B12.

PAC & MWC going to (non binding) mediation on May 19th.
Court or binding arbitration from there.

UNLV AD later did damage control but a big concern.

Not great for new PAC.
Should be free.

The same school that reportedly reneged on QB Matthew Sluka’s NIL.

Man, I’m glad you weren’t on the committee to expand the B12 when we were G5. Some of us have gotten pretty uppity since we’ve joined the B12; since we are at the bottom of the conference in football attendance maybe we should tune it down a bit.

Not a good caomparison…

The Big 12 was desperate when they added us, and the the 3 others.

They were down to 8 members and their fate was far from secured.

Now we are in a position of strength, after adding the 4 corner schools to get to 16.

We can afford to be picky now.

UNLV got left behind when PAC expansion didnt include them. Boo hoo, sorry. Big 12 future members all play for the ACC. No way they are coming to big 12.

Requesting a stay till July 15th.
