I’d like to see the ratings for Oregon vs JMU as opposed to JMU vs Western Michigan in a G5 Playoff. Aside from football junkies nobody would care or watch a G5 Playoff. If they’re calssifying all these conferences as FBS then they need more than just table scraps thrown their way every year. I’d like to see every conference champion get in and let the G5 Conference champs have “Play in” games to determine who joins the field.

If it was not for Bowlesby that got double crossed by uta the BIG12 would dead today and we would be in the aac right now.
The first chance they get espn is going to look at killing either the BIG12, the acc or both.

Over the past 30 years or so, ESPN has held the BCS/CFP broadcasting rights most of the time, but Fox did have the rights for several years. Saying that ESPN controls the BCS/CFP is misguided. The BCS/CFP has its own interests.
Did UH “double cross” the AAC when they joined a better conference then? Or is Texas the only school that “double crosses” their conference when they join a better one?
The Big 12 would be first on the chopping block. We’re a Fox conference.
Did your uta highjacked the SWC and impose which SWC member would join the newly formed BIG12? Yes, I have proof of it and posted it.

not their fault - there are more of them than P4 and you need their votes - obviously you need G5s and below since they’re doing the hard work of developing these guys for a P4 to take and claim
i think it would be worse, Just SEC and B1G. No one else. Thats when we either all Cancel ESPN subscriptions, and/or All Demand out Politicians ‘Drain the Swamp’ (SEC/B1G/ESPN)

With all the N.D. articles out there, they keep mentioning adding more teams to the playoffs. But, until you take the reigns away from ESPN/SEC/B1G, More teams will just mean MORE SEC AND B1G TEAMS!!!

Don’t espn and fox share the big12 so why doesn’t espn promote it at least halfway if they spend money on us?
What we need is for a G5 to beat one of the big boys.
Then the G5’s would be eliminated instantaneously 
Every league that has playoff has teams that aren’t supposed to win the championship. The idea of an upset is the point, I think. Otherwise just go back to the old way where you kind of line out the best 4 in bowls and vote on the champion.

3rdWard is absolutely correct. Big 12 has stability, good leadership and is in a position to take advantage of ACC when the time comes… And it WILL come.
No they wont…ESPN , FOX and TNT are all part of our TV package and Big 12 isnt going anywhere…except maybe expand again to take ACC schools…
