There is no acting to it, he studies what they do and who they are then develops a plan to beat them.
Taking every team serious and playing to our culture is why we don’t get upset by teams who can’t match us in terms of ability.

MTSU isn’t very good, but they had some guys that Sampson knew could give us trouble. So against us, they matched up well enough to look better than they would otherwise, especially when they were knocking down 3s.

MTSU is at 102 in this morning’s NET ratings, which is higher than a rough count of 13 P5 basketball teams. Then again, I’m sure the Selection Committee probably values bandera’s expertise more than NET rankings

CKS pumps up all the teams we play against, mediocre or superlative. It’s coach speak, it’s what they all do.
Having said that, MTSE is not mediocre and they had a pretty good game plan against UH. Cougars didn’t play their best but part of it was also MTSE being absolutely locked in.
