Anyone know of an option to watch the game Sat night against Baylor? We have DirecTV and they no longer have the NBCSN channel.

This year we have the Sat night Baylor game and the 2/14 home game against KSU left on Peacock so unless it is dirt cheap it makes no sense to buy another monthly streaming service.

The way it is going in a couple of years in addition to purchasing DirectTV it appears I will have to purchase 10 different streaming services in order to watch all the games.

How would you get tickets? Are there walk up tickets available? I might drive down from Dallas.

I went last year and just waited until about an hour before game time. Ended up getting tickets in their club section mid court, which was very nice for about $75 each in a packed house. I always try to wait until people are desperate to come off those tickets, and it typically works out

How does it work, is it cash or Venmo, or are these through the ticket office and not scalpers?

Or just get them resale on Seatgeek.

It’s worked every time for me except once… Round of 32 in Birmingham against Auburn… tix never came down & actually sold out at a higher price after tip-off

Thanks going to give a try and see if we get some good seats.

That would be a rerun of a noon tipoff game according to everything I am seeing.

I’m staying at a hotel right across the street from Baylor arena so I can walk there!

I typically use StubHub or Vividseats

this game could be interesting depending on how well they play iowa state tonight

Baylor is like cincy in which their roster looks way better than what theyve done.. statisitically the best offense in the big 12 (obviously inflated by weaker non con)

PG- 6’3 Obi Agbim (top 3 shooter in college basketball last year)
SG- 6’5 Cameron Carr (basically reggie miller, biggest draft riser this year, top shotblocking guard in league)
W- 6’5 Tounde Yessoufou (Basically Anthony Edwards, 1st rd pick)
W- 6’6 Dan Skillings Jr., elite rebounding wing, 3&D but the 3 is just okay
F- 6’8 Michael Rataj 230lbs stretch 4 - Huge stats last year, but 10/7 this year

every starter at some point in their career has had a 28pt+ game

Bench
C- 6’9 Caden Powell, does 8rbs per for them off the bench
C 7’0 James Nnaji, near 1st rd draft pick (for elite defense), 1 game on limited minutes

disappointing so far, particualry on the defense… but theyve been playing small up until this point, only 1 center on roster (the other had a season ending preseason injury)

but the addition of nnaji could allow them to play big, move powell/nnaji to the main lineup…and go from undersize to a very huge team…could have the biggest mid season turnaround depending how they adjust

Seatgeek is the official Baylor partner (same as UH)

Baylor could be in must win territory.

Update:

0-2 in Big12 play:

Iowa State L
Houston
At Oklahoma St
At Kansas
Texas Tech

Even if they lose tonight. Theyll probably give us hell on Saturday. But tough schedule to start league play

Iowa St beat Baylor 70-60. Box score.
