Better than TCU and Oklahoma State.

Thats about it. Of course, UCF’s student section isn’t like that when they play Stetson or Kansas State.

Where were the self serving students over the past 20 years? When I came back to the Houston area, I began to follow UH to TSU. Very few “students” were attending the games. Tickers for us were $5 and I have no idea what students were required to pay, but few, if any, were showing up. Now, for the past few years, the team has become relevant on a national level, students have become interested again. Even so, for many of the games THIS year, the student section has looked like a ghost town. Like so many sports fans in Houston, win and we might show up. Loose and “we gone”. Students, like so many wanna be fans, don’t deserve to be on the front row until they begin to show up “win or loose” . . . . .

I think we have won something like 10 in a row against them since then but yes, they always play UH tough, since they know UH so well. I wish it was the same in football though.

Students have shown up. Floor is packed and section usually close to full. They were lite during the holidays as should be expected but yet still light years from what it used to be during that time period.

I’m okay with them calling themselves Space U. They actually make an effort to associate with NASA. UH doesn’t. Now, Space City is associated with Houston.
