Game 2: Towson ESPN+ 2:00 pm 11/8

I hope we have a crowd like Monday’s there on Saturday. There isn’t much ticket demand, though - I pulled my listing and donated back to the ticket office in hopes that the seats get filled.

Towson seems like they should be a little tougher than the first game, but our guys should take a pretty good step forward.

Local recruits should be plentiful at a Saturday game.

This was the game I was taking my mom to, she was a Towson alum. She passed away on Saturday. Going to be a rough game for me to attend, but I will be there.

So sorry to hear that it’s hard to lose parents my dad died last summer and I’m still struggling with it

The crowd won’t be good, I fear. College football Saturday, plus all the other stuff Saturday brings. I’ll be there, though

What does that mean? That 7k would rather stay home and watch college football on tv than go watch Coogs basketball? Only in Houston.

Yes, have you not paid attention to our fanbase the last 40 years?

Fan base for basketball is fantastic. Crowd will be good.
Sampson and Co have earned it

I always advocated that college basketball needs to start in early December and end in late April.
Call it April Madness for all I care.

Kelvin always mispronounces “humble.” He says “umble” like the city.

Spotted in Temple!

My daughter’s dance troop is going to perform, they have 70 girls signed up to dance which is almost all of them and they are super excited because they have never performed for a soldout crowd. They also start practicing in October and don’t really start performing until January… it could be bad…

I actually don’t think that’s a unique problem for us. The Arkansas @ Michigan State game, for example, is cheaper on the secondary market than any of their other Saturday games. Even Bama @ St. John’s, which is the best matchup of the weekend and isn’t being hosted by a school that’s relevant in Football, or even in a particularly College Football-hungry metro area, is still only going for like $50. People just like Football a whole lot more than Basketball.

Such a great interview and that’s all you got?
