Looked it up. The 2016-2017 season. We lost at UCF, home to Memphis, and at SMU in a row. If you remember that year SMU was a tournament team and we went to the NIT. It was Sampson’s 3rd season and we didn’t go on our run of tournament appearances until the next season. Haven’t lost 3 in a row since

They have a legit arena for a team with such little interest. How often do they fill that? I don’t love the gray court but I guess that’s in these days.

I am anxious to see McFarland play if he is ready. The UH schedule gets increasingly tougher in February, and the time is right to start giving him minutes. If Coach does not put him in, I trust he is not ready.

Two disappointing games, low energy and effort against Middle Tennessee State and TT. Against lower competition you can pull it out, against better you can’t/
