Game 22: UCF @ #8 Houston (W 79-55)

I had to fill in because half the people were still in the parking lot or in traffic.

You’re comparing apples to oranges and you know that. UT is not ever worried about having enough funds to compete and get top recruits. Neither is Kansas, Duke or Kentucky. CKS is not making the statement in comparison to all of D1 basketball but a very small and specific subset at the top. I’m pretty sure he knows we have more money than SFA or SEIU.

Gonna need you to say this EVERY game now

EDIT: The best recent intro vid I could find was this sleepy TCU game, so you gotta use your imagination a bit.

The crowd for UH will be pretty unhinged. I’m actually having a tough time keeping my brethren in-pocket for that one, TBH. It’s a credit to the Coog’s dominance and reputation tho.

These past Big Game environments will be more analogous to what 2/16 will be. The audio can’t be truly captured electronically either, so keep that in mind.

I watched the replay on Youtube. Also from other games. Got to find a way to keep Cernac out of foul trouble. How you do that without lessening his aggressiveness is beyond my expertise. I am so impressed with those high passes toward the rim that result in dunks or slams. Was that done to avoid the blocks by their 7’2" center? Anyway I love that play. Haven’t seen that much of that since Phi Slama Jama games.

Nice!

That dude with the yellow megaphone was me yelling at Kevin Scumlin when he walked into the locker room after the first half when we were throttling his Zona Cats pre B12 expansion

I think this was an astonishing game.

Playing at home, UCF has beaten both Kansas and Tx Tech.

The point spread was 13.5. At one point in the second half we lead by 32.

Just a crushing win over a very good opponent. UCF will be a March Madness team.

The 4 guys who come off the bench played well.

We are playing really well as February games crank up.

He’s said that for 10 years. It’s why you see few issues in the program, you see great kids and supportive parents.

Cenac was not in foul trouble. He had 2 fouls for the game. Didn’t pick up his first foul until 4:17 left in the 1st half and the second at 12:25 in the 2nd. None of our bigs were in foul trouble last night.

I was referring to previous games. He is our best offensive rebounder.

lol riiiiiiggggghhhhtttt
. Cenac has gotten in foul trouble in like 2 maybe 3 games all season. He’s averaging 2.4 fouls a game. That’s less than Sharp.

Just remember
UT is not keeping up with the Jones. They ARE the Jones.

One of the great heel statements in all of college sports.

I would not make a comment like that if I have not already done so
I have

Despite the residential expert who thinks all these teams, who hardly use their bench, have better backups bigs than we do, kudos to Sakho who was terrific against UCF. When he is that active we are a real problem. Glad we have him!
