Game 22: UCF @ #8 Houston (W 79-55)

Thats true.

We have so many underachievers in our league.

Baylor, Cincinnati, Kansas State if those teams played to their expectations. We’d get 10 tourney bids

After UCF, there’s a huge dropoff. Cause TCU with a decent resume, cant win games.

Was hoping for Oklahoma State, but they dont guard well enough

Absolutely if u can make it down here for that one u wont regret it, much more exciting than the football games lol

baylor is definitely flopping but weren’t cinci and k-state aupposed to be bubble teams at best?

also don’t look at what tcu is doing right now :grimacing:

@UH67ORST61 we’ll go by KenPom preseason rankings.

Cincinnati: #36

Baylor: #17

Kansas St: #61

Kansas St, no-one was high on them. My bad on that

If you add Baylor, Cincinnati that puts the Big12 at 9 bids.

This is going to be an angry crowd after having to face Houston traffic at that hour.

I’m already mad about it.

UCF crushed TT on the boards. Guess they weren’t the toughest team. Lol
That happens on the road sometimes.

What’s nice about this conference is we aren’t the SB for every team. It is nice having UA, KU, ISU and others in this conference who can see the oppositions best version.

Looking at their roster they are tall but not really big. They have one guy who bangs

They can shoot the three and pretty much every spot but Bol.

Ok :+1:t4:

This is a terrible take. Our fans should be there to support OUR team. OUR team is top 10. Who cases who we are playing. We should pack our arena every night, regardless if the opponent.

And they are there every game… learn what a terrible take is before you come on here spouting dumb sh!t.

Fact: Crowds are going to be more hype for a ranked matchup with an in state rival than for a team nobody cares about that we’ve beaten 14 times in a row.

And they are there every game, even during the holidays and versus lesser known opponents. Your criticism is unwarranted!

Go back and read why I replied the way I did…. Does the Duke crowd differ from opponent to opponent ?

I was merely replying to someone’s terrible excuse that it was OK that the crowd was lighter because we were playing Cincy. An excuse that UH fans use every season. Every sport.

No… all Duke crowds are not equal… You obviously don’t understand the rivalry between Duke and UNC or even NC State compared to Pitt or BC coming to Durham…

All good, though… it’s just sports banter…

UH leads the all time series 25-11.
We have won 10 straight dating back to 2019 when they beat us on Game Day ending a lengthy winning streak at home, and 14 of 15.

Arcenaux last yr at Houston:

33.7% from 3pt. (28 of 83)

6.5pts & 2.7rbs in 20 minutes per game

Isiah Harwell

30.8% from 3pt (20 of 65)

16.9 minutes per game this season

Similar production. Harwells numbers i think will continue to improve as he gets more comfortable.
