I’d imagine we’re going to have a lot of NBA eyeballs on our games next year with our elite freshmen coming in. Good opportunity for our returning older guys and I could see Tugler betting on himself and coming back

I’m sure Tugler and TA will declare early for the NBA draft, get an evaluation from the NBA Undergraduate Advisory Committee, and decide how to proceed.

Since neither Tugler or TA are projected in the top 10, here are the projected first year salaries for selections 15 - 30, every 5 slots:
#15 $3,879,200
#20 $3,049,000
#25 $2,486,100
#30 $2,286,500

I think most believe both Tugler and TA would benefit from another year in college, but if the draft position is too good to pass up, I can see them declaring. First round contracts are guaranteed, but at this point, the mock draft consensus is neither are first round draft picks.

Everyone of these guys including Sharp will declare and go through the process.

It is very rare that a player outside the lottery stays another year and is a lottery pick. Occasional exceptions, but not very often. Now going from 2nd round to late first - yes pretty common.

I think @Coog51 is saying that you cannot count on freshman leading your team a long way.

You have to put everything in context.

People like Caleb, Tramon, Marcus, Jarace and Ramon played often as freshmen because there wasn’t a better upperclassman option to consider.

That is correct. These incoming freshmen are going to play. Are we going to be a better team for it initially? I will be surprised if we are UNLESS Tuggler stays and improves offensively, TA stays and becomes a consistent primary weapon and Uzan becomes the team leader. Walker could become what Wilson is right now. Sharp is who Sharp is which is a compliment. Mercy will be who he develops into. He should be able to develop into a primary perimeter scorer even a better version of LJ but we will see.

A real wild card is Mcfarland. I hear he could be special but I haven’t seen him play. So here is to hoping.

Ced? I love Ced. I truly hope he becomes a dominant rebounder. I think he can.

It’s game day!

So the over is a lock…

Don’t remember seeing hanging baskets like CU events center… does it create a different shooting line without the backboard post?

Hmm. Nevwr really paid attention to hanging baskets before. I do wonder how that may affect visual sights for shooting. I like the look tho. Cleaner underneath and no one risking running into any poles

Duke is probably the most high profile program that also has hanging baskets.
