Every year some 16 seed team gives a 1 seed a run for it’s money, but eventually fall. I think only one 16 seed has ever beaten a 1 seed, but I could be wrong on that.
The SIUE Cougars have a lot of size advantage on us, but almost every team we played all year had a height advantage, that doesn’t bother me at all.
A lot of schools put 6 defenders out in practice to try to simulate our D.

As I said, they’ll probably be like Utah.
A very UNathletically tall team…except worse.
No team they faced in the Ohio Valley Conference can come close to matching our defense and talent.
30+ point UH victory, I predict.

FDU beat Purdue a few years ago. UMBC beat Virginia around 2018 I think. We also had a closer game than I wanted against 16 seed Northern Kentucky a few years ago but I think Sasser was hurt.

I just checked out their schedule.
Their most impressive win is against Ball State, a MAC team.
Illinois (by more than 30), and Indiana (by almost 20) both absolutely CRUSHED these guys, and I think that we’re a bit better than both of those two teams.
This won’t be close.

Ryon, you already did too much investigating on SIUE, then needed. You can relax on the first game, even if Coogs play sloppy they win by 20+… Defense travels.
