Game 35: SIU Edwardsville vs Houston; Thursday (W 78-40)

As I recall Stephen F. Austin beat Duke but I can’t remember if that was a 16 v 1 deal.

I think that was regular season game

Has anyone ever seen 100% and 0%?

That would make it unnecessary to play the game.

So, if espn data jockeys say something will definitely happen, we believe them?

1% is way too high!

As I said, their only two power conference opponents (Illinois and Indiana) both MASSACRED them.

And we are way better than Illinois and Indiana.

Won’t be close.

No. It means they would be saying there’s no reason to play the game, not that anyone has to believe them.

It’s happened twice as stated above. That UMBC glass ceiling breaking game was amazing to watch live.

Both of those were a combination of the 16 playing way above its normal and the 1 not taking their opponent seriously. We can’t control the former and I don’t think Sampson is going to allow the latter.

Absoluely. Even though we should run this team off the court with no issues, at the end of the day they have kids on Divison 1 scholarships like everybody else.

And we can only put 5 guys against them. These days I don’t take anything for granted.
