And rightfully so.

If we had scored 1 more point we would have beaten the spread which was 5.5 points. Those guys in Los Vegas really are good at setting those lines.

I don’t bet on games, unless it’s a nominal bet with a friend.

Some of us have been saying that for a week, the casuals told us we didn’t know what we were talking about.

Did anyone in this thread mention Gonzaga having a stretch where they went 8/9 from 3? They just wouldn’t let us pull away.

We took the best shot from the #8 team in the country and came out one top

Isn’t there some stat about when we give up 75?

Gonzaga was 15-15 from the line. How often would that happen and the team lose?

And 9 of 20 from 3

Gonzaga shot 50% from the field. That doesn’t happen often against the Coogs. Kudos to them!

True. Aside from the foul that was called a flagrant, he played great on both ends of the floor.

We all know Tugler plays great defense, but it was such a big bonus to see him score points in the paint with the jump hook and put back dunks. He also managed to play a full game without getting into foul trouble.

Great win! Survive and advance.

But i’ve said this many times, i would hate to see another team put any type of press on us. That seems like our kryptonite. Pressure full court, 3/4 court, traps
we don’t do well.

Yeah, they’re a great free-throw shooting team. I’m just glad this game wasn’t called tight. If it was turned into a free-throw shooting contest the outcome may have been different.

Houston removed the final school that has a Bulldog as a mascot from the tournament.

Rugged, hand-to-hand street fighting

Gonzaga was 8 in this morning’s KP

The other one seeds are playing teams ranked 29, 32, and 35

We basically won an Elite Eight game in the round of 32 and our reward is Purdue in their largest alumni city.

Championship teams have to win in a variety of ways in a 6 win bracket.

Tonight I saw our Boys trade baskets for the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half. When was the last time you saw that?

Yep. Our path couldn’t be more difficult. But maybe that’s what we need. It’s the opposite of our final 4 run.

We have a battle hardened team and I’m not sweating the crowd.
