UH great on the road

it is our kryptonite because since the tech game in lubbock we’re due for at least one boneheaded turnover from it

what surprises me is that teams never seem to try to throw a press on us to start the game lol

It was 46-60 when uh had ball and tuglar made flagrant offensive foul…

Outscored 30-21 the rest of the way…

I think I’ll watch the golf tourney I taped today, I need something calming so I can go to bed. Goodnight all.

Breath caught. Two down, four to go

I’m happy with the win, but…

Roberts + Tugler + Francis: 29 points on 30 shots (0.96 points per possession.)

Cryer + Uzan + Sharp: 49 points on 29 shots (1.69 points per possession)

…cannot happen again. We waste so many possessions on ineffective postups and it is infuriating to watch. Only shooting 16 threes as the best 3-point shooting team in college basketball makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Yeah. They need to make every basket on every trip down the court. Perfection. Nothing less. It doesn’t matter if they were facing a good defense like Gonzaga.

And it was really 30-17 (4 points were from intentional foul free throws.) That was such a momentum killer. Pat Adams is the ref the NCAA picks when they want us to lose.

Well the Zag D had something to do with this. After Cryer went off, they forced us to off the three point line. They had a size advantage inside and used it.

It was clearly not a flagrant foul. It was a slip-up by Tugler, who has been much better about avoiding that stuff.

But he played maybe his best game tonight, and dragging him over ref ball is kind of stupid.

Did Heartland have an issue with our fan turnout?

While it’s true that they were defending the perimeter harder than the interior, Gonzaga’s defense is nowhere near elite enough to force us to do anything. We could have easily shot more from the outside if we had wanted to but we instead settled for too many 2s.

bizarrely we still had the best games in terms of pure shotmaking the last few years until whatever those last 3 minutes was in spite of not taking much 3s lol

Who the hell is dragging him? I’m saying the bad call was a momentum killer.
