Starting to feel like I did prior to the Tennessee game last season with Illinois. Going into the tournament had them marked as one of the loaded teams that would be very difficult. As I start diving more into who they are I like our matchups with Illinois.
Are game time released after todayâs games?
Florida/Iowa plays tonight so guessing it will be after they are done.
Except for the one last year in San Antonio FF. That sucked all around.
The only Big 10 team weâve lost to in March since Sampson has been here is Jordan Pooleâs Michigan, and that was a buzzer beater. We match up well against those teams, and this game will be no exception. If our road ends early in this tournament, it wonât be because of Illinois.
What?!? The Duke win was the greatest UH game of my lifetime. Losing to UF was incredibly painful but most of that game was a blast and a huge Coog nation party.
The idea of supporting your team is just that. I am at awe when a team like Nebraska that never won anything get so many fans for their games and we have seen so much success donât. What gives? I cannot imagine that Nebraska graduates make that much more money.
Nebraska fans have a different mentality. A true college town mentality. I donât know if some of them are getting out loans or what, but theyâll make the trip one way or another.
I want to go to UH vs Illinois but 300 to sit in nosebleeds for a sweet 16 game fees like a rip off to me.
Yea for sure the semi was awesome and the fan support are great live in person. I was just dogging the SA experience of over priced shitty concession stands thatâs nothing sort of highway robbery. Paid for inedible food. Iâm sure it all depends on the venue but imo for a FF that was a shitty offering by the ncaa.
By all means come out to Toyota center and fill it up!
Something that resonated with me is for certain teams this is the only thing the whole state got going on. Theyâre itching to get out to do things. Whereas major metro you probably got too many options through out the year. Itâs not an excuse just another angle. Still major kudos to all the traveling fans!
OPENING DAY FOR THE ASTROS AND COOGS IN THE SWEET 16
Christmas in march
I feel ya. It was an expensive endeavor. At least Htown allows most of us to sleep and eat at home. Only need to pay for gameday costs. Iâm an out of towner and canât make the S16 but wish I could.
Bigs that can shoot and pass? Not a good matchup.
Arizona is an elite defensive team. Illinois plays good defense but is not the same level.
The quality of the B12 prepares its teams for NCAA Tournament competition.
Thatâs going to be such a traffic and parking cluster, especially since it all starts during a work day. ![]()
Three major sporting events in Houston this coming weekend. The NCAA South Regional, the Houston Astros homestand, and the PGA Texas Childrenâs Open at Memorial Park.
