Seems extra dumb they are starting the west coast doubleheader 30mins earlier than central.

Astros play at 3:10pm. There is a street fest in the area before that.

I know Illinois fans are excited about being the Sweet 16 and if they’re considering coming to Houston for the game. They need to be aware that crime is up 200% in Houston and ransoms have gone up for kidnappings. I would strongly recommend they sit this one out. for their safety.

Just an observation, but since 2/7 Illinois has lost to every good team they’ve played. Now granted all five of these games were against tournament teams:
Mich St
Wisconsin
UCLA
Michigan
Wisconsin
During this time they beat IU, USC, Oregon + Maryland. Yes they beat Penn and VCU in the tournament. I think the key to this game is Eman locking down Wagler and not letting him go off. More importantly he can’t get in foul trouble and have to sit long periods.

Four of those losses were OT. So that’s a little misleading.
CKS coached teams don’t get distracted… imo we’re playing the best we have all season… time to put the clamps on the Illini offense!
