Game 39: Duke vs Houston; Saturday - 7:49pm CST - CBS (W 70-67)

We just did the same thing. When LJ missed the 2nd FT after the flagrant 1, I groaned. Then my wife made fun of me.

Exactly, and you can not tell me that Houston is not additive to the Big 12.

Not according to Tarheel fans…:rofl::rofl:

And UNC choked against the Chokers lol

I can tell you from experience that the speed of the fight song directly correlates to the heart rate of the members of the band. Sometimes something amazing would happen in a game and you didn’t even realize you’re playing the fight song double time because you’re so excited.

That makes sense. They must be really excited just about every game though. lol. That’s freakin cool though. Thanks for the response. P.s.- I like our Cougar Brass. They are the engine of the Fertitta Center crowd.

More to the point, it correlates to how pumped the drummer is - kick that sucker off in double time and buckle up!

To go old school and put it in viny record terms, there were 33.3 revolutions per minute (RPMs), 45 RPMs and 78 RPMs.

I hope at the end of the game, the Cougar Brass is playing at 78 RPMs.
