If you can even call it a choke! You have to play Houston at a high intensity for all 40 minutes. I chalk it up to elite defense, experience, and coaching.
Not to mention a couple fouls that shouldāve had Jojo shooting some FTs too.

If she were a Duke fan or even a big college basketball fan than I would have entertained her comment a little more.
But she just browsed social media and saw it trending and felt like throwing it in our meeting. Everyone knows Iām a UH grad and our boss is a Coog.

The wild thing is that assuming Duke gets the rebound on a missed free throw, fouling Roberts for a 1-and-1 was probably one of the best things Duke could have done to manage their lead. Heās a 64% free throw shooter; that means thereās a 36% chance they get the ball back with the lead, a 23% chance they get it back with the score tied, and a 0% chance of the Coogs draining the rest of the clock on that possession and getting a basket to win. In the absolute worst-case scenario there (which is actually the one that played out) they get a shot to take the lead, and then if thatās missed, they can foul again and get the ball back with another shot to tie or take the lead.

Damm, canāt help it but Iām nervous. Guess its the past thatās haunting me, I remember a North Carolina game where they wernāt supposed to even be in the same stadium with the coogs. That was then though, and now with CKS I have a much brighter outlook. Look out Mr. J. Daniels.
