My biggest problem with “the guy” comment is we shouldn’t be having these close games. We have had chances to take really big leads and not let these games be close. He just doesn’t like offensive flow.

That’s exactly right. It’s why Cryer and Sharp are having to force the issue more often than not. When Shead drove they would find a spot to catch and shoot. Now they’re having a hard time getting open shots

He’s still not healthy. When fresh, he’s the best player on the floor.
SDSU puts 12,414 in their arena every game. They’ve been a good program for years.
There are 364 hoops teams. There’s literally a 1% chance to make the final four.

We just can’t finish close games like we have in years past, so it’s clear we miss Shead in that regard.
Sharp and Cryer are only offense options. Tugler and Francis have very little offensive game, Roberts has regressed offensively and has had a problem with bigger centers like Broome and guy from SDSU. Beyond that, who scores? Maybe Arceneaux has a run. Maybe Miller (when he plays). Uzan has been a disappointment. Can’t really drive to the hoop and has fouled out of all three of our losses.
We have a lot of work to do, but I think this will be good for us in the long run.
On the bright side, we have OT losses against two teams that were just in Final Four and a close loss to Auburn, which might be the best team in the country.

it was one thing to lose to auburn and alabama but tonight was the worst regular season loss i’ve seen since maybe that memphis game we lost at home a few years ago lol
It’s a long way to March, we will get there.
One thing that personally gets me is we play the trap, and the opponent always seems to hit a 3 to put them back in the game.

I don’t like minimizing the effort of Tuggler. He’s a battler. And I love the Artis Gilmore sideburns.
But life behind the arc is gonna be stressful for our little guys when’s he averaging 2.5 points a game.
