GAME THREAD: #2 Houston (24-3) at #11 Baylor (19-7) 2/24 CBS (W 82-76)

Why didn’t Jo Jo play in 2nd half he looked pretty good in first half??

He’s growing up as we speak

Bridges was the matchup issue in this game but to say he was cooked and has been this season is nonsense. Our bigs have defense perimeter players remarkably well this season, but you are correct that we haven’t been perfect.
We do miss TA but have covered it in unbelievable fashion

We shot 86% from FT line. Cryer and Sharp were money. Great sign. Even Jwan hit most of his.

A Sharp and TA combination next year will be very hard to defend.

I wish TA wasn’t hurt.

Ramon out for the year according to Sampson…Dunn better get it figured out

Baylor’s 3pt makes FELT like more than 10.

The fact that they had more rebounds but we scored more in the paint tells me the quick pass inside is working percentage-wise

He’s on to something as soon as he stops pump faking

He got tripped by the Baylor player

Ramon being out is not helpful. He’s a quality hustler.

What happened to him?

If we hadn’t lost to TCU by one point on a Dunn blunder, we would have beaten all the P5 Texas teams this year:

Baylor
Texas (x2)
Texas A&M
Texas Tech

Other Texas teams:
Texas State
TAMU-CC
Rice

We own this state.

Torn meniscus, happens early you can come back, but way too late to bounce back from.

Good thing Wilson has come on strong but Dunn can’t match that intensity

Quality hustler, and even more important pretty good about not being an “f it all up’per”

Yea. Dunn’s OK but he lacks the intensity of both Ramon and Mylik. I would say he’s a better scorer, IMO.

Sharp has actually been taking it to the hole a lot over the past month. Not just settling for jumpers. With his build he can take the punishment in the paint and he’s definitely a closer!!

Dang it! I wish him a quick and complete recovery
