But probably a Quad 3 or 4 loss for Xavier
Yes Sir. Coach Hughley’s team hasn’t really played anyone of significance yet, but I know they have blown out every opponent.
Pretty sure all by 20+. Will have to look up. Have to take the positives n see if the Women’s program makes some good strides this year.
Edit: 4-0 to start. Wins have been by 25-40 pts. But against AF, SHSU, Grambling St, NO… so…
Man, I think we played Oakland during Thanksgiving week some 11 or 12 years ago. I was pretty new to the US, UH, and college sports in all. My brother came to visit from the UK, and we took in a game at the Hof against a team I reckon was Oakland, or somebody of a similar ilk with a bear-looking mascot.
We lost, and there can’t have been more than 90 people there. Genuinely pitiful. Few enough that as 2 of about 10 people in what was supposed to the student section, my bro and I were asked to take part in some kind of halftime contest. We declined because it was so damn tragic.
He’s planning on coming out here next year for thanksgiving and I can’t wait to have him join my nephew and I for a few beers and some UH basketball.
The transformation over the last few years has been nothing short of spectacular. We’ve a program to be proud of and I fully expect us to get the job done this Friday.
