I cannot stress this enough, this IS a home game for Iowa State. Not “like a home game”, it is 100% a home game. On Championship Night against a team as well-respected and highly regarded as UH, it will probably be a more advantageous environment for ISU than if the game were at Hilton in Ames.
I do think Houston wins, and they are certainly good enough to not care about the environment, rightfully so. I just want to elimnate all doubt and any notion that this will be a neutral court game in any sense of the word. Heck, yet another feather in this Houston team’s cap to win this one. You will see what I mean pretty much immediately.
Hey Coogs. Let’s show the country that the B12 is the best conference and that we are the best 2 teams in the country. Hope both teams play their best and no players get injured.

He hasn’t shot very well down the stretch. He got going a little bit last game but still missed way too many. As a true frosh i think this league got into his legs a little bit. Its a grind. @EightysixEE

@lowbehold it’s a really good time. The P&L district is literally right across the street and it is the heart of KC socially. The T-Mobile Center is also an underrated modern venue in every sense of the word. Weird cuz they don’t have an NBA team so it’s kind of a hidden gem. KC is also a big college basketball town.

I have to admit, I was a little bit jaded about conference tournaments after being in the wastelands, conference tournament wise, for the last 20 years. So nice to be in the big leagues. I have been fortunate to have attended about seven final fours. This looks like about as much fun as I have had at any of them.

@lowbehold its right up there with the big east tournament. And much more accessible and affordable. Doesn’t hurt to have the best league running for about 7 years now. That’s just a fact, especially from a depth standpoint.
