Looking forward to seeing Ryan play in this game.

Yep. All 12 get playing time.

Rice ranks, 219th in Fg%, 261st 3pt% and defensively 320th in FG% against, 325th in 3pt% against and rank 271st in rebounds allowed per game. Oh and turnovers, they rank 286th. Sounds like a couple of their guys are injured (and wont be back Wednesday).

That’s not going to stop them from playing the game of the year against us. Don’t sleep on Rice (I heard it hurts).

Got 2 tickets and a parking pass for the game tomorrow. I’ll give them up for $20. Can’t go for most weekday games because of work / family

Somewhere between 30-50 point victory in this one

Hot take? I’d much rather play TSU every season instead of Rice. They were a great partner when we needed a gym, fun pep band, and they bring more fans to our arena.

We should spot them 28 points and see if BB can do what FB couldn’t

Should we like start Ryan, Ramon, Lath, Jojo, Wilson? Then with like 10 minutes left in the half bring in the regular starters?

I’m seeing the likes of an UT type of arrogance oozing out on this board and it’s not very becoming.

Thank God that CKS doesn’t think that way or feel that way at all. He has said repeatedly that he knows just how hard it is to win a game in college basketball.

Thats a better lineup than HCU runs out, that HCU who Rice just got done playing, Rice was down 31-29 at the half. HCU is 358 in KenPom out of 362 teams. Yikes

Just looked it up and Ron Cottrell is STILL there. Wow I remember his name coming up in UH coaching searches back in the day. He has been at HBU/HCU since 1991! His record since HBU moved from NAIA to NCAA is 130 wins and 268 losses, .327 winning percentage. Oof.

I’m guessing the line is going to open around UH - 28 and shoot up to UH - 35. I can’t see Rice being competitive in this one.

Houston opens -26

That seems like easy money unless we get the refs from the Xavier game.
